Introduction

Overview

The Operations Master window provides a centralized interface to manage and execute production operations using predefined resources. Especially, focusing on its resource-based capabilities, highlights how it can streamline manufacturing processes, optimize resource usage, and drive operational efficiency.

Business Case 

The value of implementing the Operations Master in Konnect ERP to improve production efficiency, enhance resource utilization, and ensure real-time tracking of manufacturing activities. By aligning operations with specific resources, work centers, and subcontracting processes, the organization can reduce downtime, eliminate bottlenecks, and improve overall productivity.

Critical Fields

  1. Operation Name : It is used to mention the name of the operation.
  2. Resource : It is used to Select the manufacturing work center  (previously defined) where you want to execute the operation. For the product costing, the Resource rate is taken from the cost element introduced in the window Product Costing (Refer resource master).

Critical & onetime setup fields

 

Non-Critical Fields

  1. Search Key: Used to maintain unique name or code for the product
  2. Sequence Number: o apply sequence for the phase of project to be followed. It will be auto-generated by system but user can edit accordingly
  3. Is-Subcontracting : When we select this check box this operation is used for the subcontracting process.
  4. Active:- Checkbox for Active or in active status of substitute operation
  5. Business Partner : We should mention the Business partner name when we select the Is-Subcontracting check box (Refer Business Partner Master)
  6. Description: This is used to mention the description URL
  7. Comments: Use to note Comments Which are required with this document
