Introduction

Introduction

Overview 

1. It is used to Maintain Resource types and their principal availability. it is used to calculate the available time in a resource. It allows input of starting time and end time for the slot according to the working days.

Business Case

1. In a Company Resources are classified into some resource types.It is used to separate the resources Based on their uses.
2. Example : Plant , Work center, Main Resources

Critical Fields

1. Name : It is used to create the Resource Type name .
2. UOM : It is used to select the UOM for the Resource Type.(Refer UOM Master)
3. Product Category : It is used to select the product category.(Refer Product Category Master) 
4. Tax Category : The Tax Category provides a method of grouping similar taxes. For example, Sales Tax or Value Added Tax.(Refer Tax Category Master)

Critical & onetime setup fields

1. Organization : This Field is used to select the organization which you are going to process the document.

Non-Critical Fields

1. Time Slot : It is used to give the time slot for resource working time. It available only certain times.(We can give time when select this check box)
2. Day Slot : It is used to give the Day slot for the Resource working day. It available only certain days.(We can give days when select this check box)
3. Single Assignment Only : If selected, you can only have one assignment for the resource at a single point in time. It is also not possible to have overlapping assignments. 
4. Allow UOM Fractions : When select this check box , you can enter UOM Fractions.

Zoom condition’s

1. We can Zoom and find the resources by using this resource type.

1. It is used to save the records after the mandatory fields are filled .
