Tax Category Introduction Introduction Overview The Tax Category Tab is used to define and maintain Tax Categories. Each Product is associated with a Tax Category. This facilitates adapting to changes in taxation. Business Case In most of the companies are used the same tax categories according to the government orders like GST-12%,GST-5%. Tab Tax Category Critical Fields: Name: It is used to mention the tax category name. The name of an entity (a record) is used as a default search option in addition to the search key. The name is up to 60 characters in length. Critical & one-time setup fields: Organization Field- This Field is used to select the organization in which you are going to process the document. Non-Critical Fields: Default: The Default Checkbox indicates if this record will be used as a default value. Is Withholding: This is used to mention the withholding or not. Zoom conditions: We can zoom and find the product, item master, Tax Rate and product Planning Data by using this Tax category. Customization: Validations Validations Save : It is used to save the records after the mandatory fields are filled. Delete : It is used to delete the records before the transaction are done.
